Leading the M&A department of our firm, Att. Att. Buğra Aydın is expert at competition and compliance law having attended numerous disputes and investigations. He has represented local and international clients in numerous merger control notifications, written and oral defenses and leniency applications before the Turkish Competition Authority.
Att. Buğra Aydın also conducted intra-company investigations and prepared compliance reports regarding white collar crimes in order to ensure that foreign and local companies are operating in compliance with Turkish laws. He has also published several academic articles regarding competition law and international law.
Att. Buğra Aydın has broad experience and is serving clients on a daily basis in media, IT, real estate, international commerce, retail and maritime. He has provided assistance on a wide spectrum to international media & entertainment companies both for their day-to-day legal operations in the areas of labor law, corporate law and press law, as well as assisting M&A transactions and applications made to public institutions.
Att. Buğra Aydın is also currently a lecturer of commercial law at Istanbul Medipol University School of Law. He is leading the competition, compliance and co-leading the employment law departments of our firm.

Assisting and advising our firm in competition law; Att. Elif Gökdağ Öner has represented and defended many clients before the Turkish Competition Authority and Courts on numerous competition investigations and represented clients in merger control and exemption filings.
Att. Elif Gökdağ Öner has extensive experience in automotive, steel, cement, energy, media, construction equipments, FMCG, tobacco, banking and finance industries. Att. Elif Gökdağ Öner advised leading blue chip automotive companies on all aspects of antitrust law and ensured their antitrust compliance on an extensive scale from dealer networks to HQ and prepared custom-made compliance manuals based on the specific industry dynamics. She advised clients on structuring of dealership organizations, drafted distribution, supply and dealership agreements in accordance with the international antitrust legal framework and negotiated these agreements with the clients’ distributors and international suppliers. She is also highly experienced in contract law and negotiation.
Att. Elif Gökdağ Öner is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Law at İstanbul University. She achieved her LL.M. from Kings College London by completing her thesis under the supervision of Prof. Richard Whish.

Att. Melis Buhan assists our firm's international clients in the areas of tax, employment, IP and foreign investment, having worked with numerous international clients in high volume projects over the years.
Att. Melis Buhan is highly specialised in employment law and has advised and represented many major local and international companies regarding employment and labour law issues, social security and payroll matters, work and residence permits and on requirements of Turkish employment legislation during and following the establishment of new corporate entities in Turkey.
She is also providing specialised services with respect to tax and IP related matters for many years and she has resolved many disputes with a good success record. She is also author of several international publications and attended the conferences in numerous countries as a spokesperson.
